I bought items from Throttle Chimp as their website stated delivery would be made by Friday. The items were not received by the Friday nor was any communication provided to say when delivery would be made. I tried calling and e-mailing on that Friday but received no response which I was most concerned about as my order was for ยฃ1.5k and suddenly I wondered if this might have been a scam. Eventually I received an e-mail stating that they had been so busy they didnโt have time for any communications and that the parcel would be delivered the following week. Pretty useless given that I needed the items that weekend to ride in.
I advised Throttle Chimp to cancel the order but they said they couldnโt as miraculously all of a sudden the items had been dispatched. They told me I would need to reject them when the delivery company tried to deliver. This was going to be difficult as I knew I wouldnโt be at home (unsurprisingly I would be at work not sitting at home waiting for a late and now pointless delivery) Of course I missed the first attempt at delivery but was at home the following day when they re-tried, so I rejected the items before they even left the delivery van.
2 weeks later I have still had no communications from Throttle Chimp nor have the funds been credited back to my credit card and so I have had to involve the credit card company to resolve this matter.
Please do not make the same mistake I did, use a reputable company instead who will deliver items and not withhold your money.
